Multimedia as related to web content is essentially electronic media that provides a way for the end user to access content on the Internet.

    • Consider giving your audience a “feeling” for the work instead of trying to simulate a live viewing.

    • Will it upload to the screen quickly?

  • Most people make a decision in the first 3 seconds of visiting a website whether to go or stay, if your images is still uploading, after 3 seconds, consider that you may lose your audience.

    • Find a middle ground for image quality and quick uploading. Optimization software can help you set parameters for accomplishing this

      • Adobe Reader

    • Electronic media can be used as part of your web-presence which can be everything from an email to your website. It is especially prominent in social media sharing sites. Many times you can link or embed the electronic media that is sharing on a social media site on your personal web page or blog.

      • YouTube is a good example of this in that you can embed the video from the YouTube site and have it show on your website as well
